MARRIAGE LICENSE INFORMATION
FOR YOUR FLORIDA BEACH WEDDING
To get married in Florida, YOU NEED TO OBTAIN A FLORIDA MARRIAGE LICENSE.

You can apply for your marriage license in any county in the State of Florida.  You must obtain
your marriage license in person.  The State of Florida does not require any blood tests.

If you are a resident of the State of Florida, you have two options:  You may complete a
premarital course and your fee will be reduced by $32.50 and there won't be a waiting period.
You can opt not to take the course and have a waiting period of three days from the date you
obtain your license.

If both the bride and groom are NOT residents of the State of Florida, there is NO waiting period
(if you want to order your marriage license by mail, click on the link above--extra charges for the
marriage license will apply for this service).

The fee for your marriage license is $93.50*.   Once received, your marriage license will be valid
for 60 days.  Regardless of which Florida county you applied for  license, the marriage may take
place anywhere in the State of Florida.

Bring your Florida marriage license to your beach wedding ceremony.  After the wedding
ceremony, we will take your marriage license to the county clerk's office for official recording.
Once you receive the certified marriage license in the mail, you can start the process of
changing your name!
